Your Job: Create an image in which you change only part of the image. Use layers and adjustment layers. A quick overview of the steps:
Open image
Create a new adjustment layer (hue/saturation)
Adjust your image using the adjustment layer.
Change the colors to what ever you desire. Focus on the part of the image you want to change (ignore the rest...we'll only show the changed part)
Alt-Delete to change the mask from white to black (black conceals the adjustment layer); the effect from the previous step should now be hidden.
Remember: black conceals; white reveals
Paint over with "white" to show the part of the image you want to adjust.
How to do it!
